The client was getting lots of traffic to his website, but he noticed that people weren’t engaging with it the way he wanted them to. They were spending time on his site, but they weren’t taking the next step to request a call.

He had tried optimizing his SEO and writing the copy himself with AI. Even though he changed the copy frequently to try new messaging, nothing seemed to work.

Solution

I crafted copy for FireVibe’s home page that clearly featured the company’s unique differentiators and spoke to his target audience’s pain points. With concise, compelling headlines like “Big Agency Support. Small Business Prices,” and “See Your Vision Come to Life in as Little as 7 Days. Without the Hassle,” I called attention to the fact that FireVibe is a great fit for small businesses’ web design needs. They offer quality support and efficiency but are affordable and flexible for small businesses.

One of FireVibe’s key benefits is that they are able to create custom web mock-ups for clients very quickly and can launch those designs within 7 days. That is something not even larger web agencies can do, and so I featured that in headlines, and made getting a free web mock-up a clear call to action.

I emphasized FireVibe’s great fit for small businesses and the owner’s experience in the tech industry to improve his credibility and create trust. Phrases like “after spending more than a decade as a senior IT leader at Fortune 100 and 500 companies,” immediately lend legitimacy to the company leadership and the brand, helping create a closer connection with the reader.

Adding copy like “You can now have excellent web support without deep pockets—the way it should be!” resonates with small businesses who have clear pain points not being able to access quality web support at an affordable price point. It also positions FireVibe as the clear solution.

Clear, benefit-driven and personalized headlines and CTAs help readers create a connection with FireVibe and guide them to take the next step.

If you were a small business wanting to stand up a website, it would be hard to resist a headline like, “Why Wait Months? Your New Website Could Be Live in 1 Week!” That piques curiosity and compels people to want to learn more.

I turned FireVibe’s About page into a compelling, personalized story that featured the values of the business’ brand. This helps add a depth to the website that builds trust and encourages people to take the next step.

After reading the About page with Clifton’s story, readers feel as if they know him and his mission better, and feel more comfortable contacting him to learn more. Seeing mentions of him in local newspapers and magazines also adds social proof and lends legitimacy.

Early results of this copy were positive—within less than a week of updating the Home and About page copy, the client reported getting 4 requests for web mock-ups!
